The murdered law student, Sophie Næss, turns out to have also been a high-class prostitute working with Karina Urdahl. The detectives locate Karina and her pimp, Remi. As they wait to make the bust, the two men bond. Sander explains that Bo’s brain injury comes from an immigrant brutally attacking Bo back in high school. Max tells Sander that he was witness to his son Oliver’s death; there’s nothing worse a parent can experience. The detectives take Karina and Remi into custody, finding an underage immigrant girl hidden in the house. That night, long-time family friend Marit tells Sander that Bo was mentally disabled before the attack in high school; he’s been brain damaged since birth. Bo has been lying to Sanders for years. A tip from Remi leads Max to a secret location in the woods, where Max discovers a door.
