An exceptionally well-written tale that takes you tumbling from the mundane to the disturbing with the constant flashbacks serving as the backstory and more. I'm generally not a fan of the unreliable narrator technique and the constant switching of persons (i.e., third to first) is, at junctures, discordant but Holly Seddon seems to pull off with aplomb this descent into madness.
