If ever there was a book on compassion and turning the other cheek; this is it! The trials Corrie and her family suffer are deplorable at the hands of the Nazis. However, what she chooses to do after they end is what makes this book incredible. I still think of her sister being grateful for the fleas and why it really was a blessing to them.
