This was a standard Michael Connelly novel. Very much a police 'procedural'. I didn't really care for any of the characters that Harry Bosch or Lucia Soto (Harry's new partner) came across. This made it difficult for me to get through the book. I almost quit a couple of times. If the peripheral characters had been more interesting, I would have given this a 4/5 rating. It was, however, interesting in showing how a cold case can slowly come together after many years.
