Good - Hamlet 2 (2008) 92 min. – Steve Coogan is funny in this film though some scenes are crude. What makes this picture is its slapstick humour, Coogan’s likeability (eventually) and Catherine Keener’s character playing Coogan’s wife as a tough no nonsense woman. This is not great comedy but it’ll keep your interest until the end. The premise is quite funny to begin with – Coogan plays a drama teacher who writes a sequel to Shakespeare’s Hamlet; unfortunately, all the characters in Shakespeare’s play eventually die by the end of the story. No worries, Coogan’s eccentricity solves the problem.
