A rare, insider's look at the life of Donald Trump from the author of the Killing series, based on exclusive interview material and research. O'Reilly blends primary, interview material with a history that recounts Trump's childhood and family and the factors from his life and career that forged the worldview that the president of the United States has taken to the White House. This is an up-to-the-minute, intimate view of the man and his sphere of influence-of "how Donald Trump's view of America was formed, and how it has changed since he became the most powerful person in the world"- from a writer who has known the president for thirty years.

Can't wait to read this book. Trump is a true characterization of the resiliency of humans. The good always come out on top. He fought the devil and beat her in 2016! Now I have read this book and here are my thoughts. No surprises. There was only confirmation that every reason I voted for Trump is true. He should have won reelection because he received 11 million more votes than in 2016. And he will. Mark my words.
About Bill O'Reilly. Gonna read the rest of his books. His style is simple and clear.

Bill O'Reilly, brings another layer of, humanness to Trump, a man who is already transparent. It portrays Trump's life in the early years, how he is already a young man with a plan, to win. He wants to be surrounded by the best life has to offer, a very American way of thinking. The difference may be that he knows how to achieve his goals, and that does cause envy in others. We need to be glad that he is able to accomplish task, even when the wolves want to tear him apart. Our nation is dependent on that. Interesting interview with former President Obama, a must read.

Very good book. To win the presidency in this hostile media- environment, President Trump must have a very strong mind, strong character, good vision, etc, to survive and to win. We should give him a lot of credits for that. Like it or not, he is our President now. Be fair to him and don't talk bad about him. He loves America and wants to bring fairness for America. Look at what he has tried and done for this country. Let's appreciate these.

It is sad that trump supporters are not smart enough to realize the damage that trump has done to our country. I think fox news and the prosperity gospel mega church evangelical cults are to blame for brainwashing their followers . Most of their followers deny basic facts and obviously have given up their ability to think for themselves. It is sad to see so many people cheering for a man who loves Putin, Kim and MBS. It is sad that so many people in red states live in poverty and lack access to proper healthcare and education. Yet the republican party keeps them in a state of fear of "others" that they continually vote against their own interests.

Fitting salute by the Twitter in Chief. Disgraced Bill Orally is his Propaganda Minister.

I thought Trump was arrogant and rude. O'Reilly has proven me right. I so appreciate that O'Reilly includes the good, bad, and the ugly. I feel like he's closer to fair than most I read. I feel like readers get a glimpse of what makes our President tick and what motivates him -- and yes, part of that is arrogance. And part of it is love for America and her people. I hate all the crud he is going through, but I love that he is fighting for the America that I believe our Founding Fathers intended. (Yes, more imperfect men--like us.) I'm proud to be an American.

More propaganda for the uneducated trump supporters. Grow up, turn off fox news and face reality.

The book was bad, but the liberal-left comments were worse. Grow up people.

Trump apologist and friend writes a book about Trump. Not much that is new or that you couldn't figure out yourself.

“I have broken more Elton John records, he seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don’t have a musical instrument. I don’t have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. And lots of other people helping. No we’ve broken a lot of records. We’ve broken virtually every record. Because you know, look I only need this space. They need much more room. For basketball, for hockey and all of the sports, they need a lot of room. We don’t need it. We have people in that space. So we break all of these records. Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.”
- Actual quote from a July 2018 unofficial campaign rally in Montana at which Donald Trump described things, as usual according to many fans, “as they are”.
