A podcaster stirs up seventeen-year-old Kaylee's memories of her birth mother, who is infamous for alleged telekinetic ability and for murdering her own son.
After reading The Possible by Tara Altebrando, I was amazed by how detailed and complex the story was. It must have taken the author a long time to think about the plot and storyline. When Kaylee was four years old her brother was murdered, by her mother, Crystal who claims to have telekinetic powers. Crystal was sent to prison and Kaylee was adopted. Now Kaylee is fourteen years old living a normal life with her adoptive parents. One ordinary day a woman shows up at her front door asking Kaylee if she is willing to talk about her birth mother in an interview. If Kaylee does this interview her forgotten past will be remembered again. This book was amazing and I definitely recommend this book for ages twelve and up. I finished the book very fast because it had so many pages that made you want to keep reading. To find out if Kaylee does the interview read The Possible by Tara Altebrando.

Tara Altebrando is an author that I have recently come to love. Her latest book, The Possible, follows a teen who was adopted as a young girl after her birth mother commits an unspeakable crime. Kaylee is now grown up and in high school and is beginning to question what really happened back then and also questioning if she might have some of the powers that her mother does. This book did not take me long to finish b/c I couldn't seem to put it down!
