'Everyday Dorie: The Way I Cook' is a beautiful book with gorgeous pictures of many recipes, a book I'm glad I checked out from KCLS rather than jumped into with my overworked Visa. The way Dorrie cooks is clearly not the way I cook but I can appreciate her talent and innovation. There is a 4 page 'pantry alphabet' of ingredients, of which I knew only 10 of the 27 listed. To me this makes most of the recipes unaccessible. I am eager to make the 'Bourbon-roasted pork loin' and I love a good 'cowboy caviar salad'. I think I just found most of my New Years Day menu!
