In WWII Holland, Corrie ten Boom drafted a secret resistance army of untrained university students who navigated a deadly labyrinth of hijackings, rescue missions and underground networks to save and transport over 880 Jewish people in their panicked exodus from death. This thrilling, true tale of young people daring to resist one of history's cruelest tyrants attests that a brave, faithful few can change the tide of history. - Container.

What Corrie Ten Boom and her family did during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands was nothing short of amazing and they never took credit for themselves and always gave credit for their strength to Jesus. Apparently this wasn't enough so a 'story' is re-written using the theme of the Ten-Boom family and an 'underground' army of students---Really?
Corrie Ten Boom's students were mentally challenged boys & girls that were in first form. She taught these children as a Sunday School class. The Nazi regime had plans to perform euthanasia to children and adults who had severe learning disabilities. Corrie's classes were discontinued due to the Nazi's outlawing religious gatherings. Corrie taught simple Bible stories, she was not Jewish. The Ten-Boom family were all active members of the Dutch Reformed Church. Even when their Pastor told them not to hide any Jews, The Ten-Booms put their trust in God, not in man. Read the book; The Hiding Place, or watch the original movie by the same name. Corrie also wrote many short booklets. Those are very rewarding to read.

Excellent movie! Making the student the key focus this time and their sacrifice.
