decent story of the American revolution. the last episode was the most moving as it discussed the post war creation of a nation out of separate states. the extra song by james taylor of johnnie's gone for a soldier was most moving.

6 episodes at 45 minutes each, this was too short. Nonetheless, I found it very informative. Someone should do a Canadian version of the history of the revolution, as the revolutionary war involved Canadians (two battalions from Canada; battles fought in Canada at Montreal, Quebec, the mouth of the St. John River, Fort Cumberland, to name but a few) and the war lead to the loyalist arrivals in Nova Scotia and Canada. The Canadian motto of 'peace, order and good government' was expressed in opposition to the American motto of 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness'.
