This book was a joy to read. Very well written and definitely a page turner. The ending was satisfying and all around, this was a great read. If you like this kind of book, I highly recommend reading this one. I give it a solid A.

If you can get past the knee-deep right wing rhetoric, with all its accompanying racism and paranoia, the plot is interesting and well-written for the most part. A bit too much of the rah rah America, and the notion that if you aren't Extreme Right you must be a commie, though. Scary to me that there are really Americans who think in this simple-minded way and that this author can conceive of the 'left' being behind Islamic terrorism.... well, what more can I say.

Hmmm. All considered a dissapointment. I have read all Brad Thor's books and have up till now been impressed with his work, but 'Full Black' is just not up to it. I do not know if Brad Thor has run out of ideas, or I have just become used to and bored by the formula he writes to.
This with his oft expressed oplitical views, has become an annoying trait of many authors, and I am left wondering why I should spend my time reading them. As for his conclusion, here I wonder if the book was supposed to end in 250 or so pages, and Thor took the opportunity to wrap it up in 5, so he could get onto his next book.

Hooked on Brad Thor books another great Scott Harvath story

This is another thriller in the Scot Harvath series, where the United States is threatened by a massive terrorist attack that's been in the works since the 1940s. This time, Navy SEAL turned covert counterterrorism operative Harvath will need some help from other operatives in the CIA, and members of a private paramilitary organization called the Carlton Group if he's going to save the day. It’s a global romp of action and intrigue. Harvath devises a plan and must go "Full Black", and perform outside the rules and without knowledge of his government.
I found it an intelligent examination of current events and a political wake-up call for free thinking people everywhere. This one has now been added to my all-time favourite reads list!

Seemed a bit "preachy" and not his normal thriller. Still a good read if you like Brad's style.

The parallel between this book and the political enviroment in Washington today is very thought provoking, if not scary.
