There is a lot of information in this book, and at a point it starts to feel redundant but those statements appear frequently because they are essential to holistic self-care. I would recommend actually reading through Part 1: The Foundations of a Good Health so that you have a thorough grasp of the foundations. But from then on you can skip through the chapters and find the sections that appeal directly to you. However, if you decide to read through the entire book you will find that some herbs reappear because they offer so many benefits. This is a great reference book into holistic self-care, but if you take the time to go through Part 1 thoroughly you can return this book with the confidence that you know how to navigate the basics on your own.
