The prismatic portrait of the days and nights of a party girl in sixties Rome is a revelation. It follows the gorgeous, seemingly liberated Adriana as she dallies with a wide variety of men, attends parties, goes to modeling gigs, and circulates among the rich and famous. Despite its often light tone, though, the film is a stealth portrait of a suffocating culture that regularly dehumanizes people, especially women.

A terrific film with a surprising and terrifying ending. Thematically, I suppose it could be remade every ten years or so. Although there is not much of a plot, the scenes and the film as a whole hold together well.

Set in our time will reflect the empty materialistic world and the dream of the young to become famous with no substance in life.
Very good movie.

Interesting Italian film and a good performance by the lead actress.
Follows an aspiring actress in 60s Rome, living in the moment-trying to find her place and the dark realities of the industry she tries to breakthrough in.
My main issue with the film is that it is a bit slow pace and certain scenes don't seem to add value to the film as a whole.
