Delilah goes back to her home town in Kansas to finish her senior year of high school. There, she reconnects with old friends and Gavin, the loner outcast. Gavin’s house is very mysterious, and people think its haunted. The house can actually move things around and communicate with Gavin without talking. The house will do anything to keep Delilah away from Gavin. The thriller portion of the book was very captivating and felt surreal. It was scary at times. The romance part, however, was very rushed and was cringe-worthy. I personally didn't like that part. The book alters between Delilah's and Gavin's perspectives. 3/5 stars

This story begins has a magical tale where the house loves the boy and raises him. But then he falls in love with a girl and the house is not happy. Okay book.

Started out like a Disney story. This young orphan boy is cared for by his magical house. It did not end that way. The house becomes terrifying and there are questions about if the boy is really an orphan!! Good read!
