What better way to mend a broken heart than a laugh-out-loud book about the most famous break-ups of all time? Whether you keep making mistakes in romance (like Henry VIII), or you're always optimistic that things will work out (like Debbie Reynolds), then these are stories you'll love. And remember, no matter how badly you've behaved after a break-up, at least you're not Lady Caroline Lamb, who sent Lord Byron a gift...*ahem*...that only she could give.

This a collection of 13 breakup stories that are guaranteed to make anyone feel better about their romantic history. I enjoyed the lighthearted tone and the heavy sprinkling of pop culture references. Overall this was a super easy, fun read and you come away with a little bit of extra history knowledge!

Wonderful telling of history! For a regular fiction reader, this is a fantastic non-fiction book.

One of the best books I have read about terrible break ups. You won't feel so bad about the poor choices in dating when you read this.
