"Michel Houellebecq, possibly the most widely read living French writer, was believed kidnapped on September 16, 2011. But was he really? After a flurry of media reports of his abduction, the story goes cold and Michel, famously reclusive, refuses to set the record straight."--Container.

Strange movie just like his books. Hard to rate, you either like it or it leaves you neutral.

Boring - life is too short to waste a couple of hours on an uninteresting movie like this!! P.S. -it's not funny!!

Very funny and interesting to watch. An incredible false story, but it looks like a real documentary. Very well done. Michel Houellebecq is fascinating in his own character.
