Was drawn to this book by the survival theme and Smoky Mountain setting. As an adult I enjoyed this YA book about survival, courage, and friendship. We hiked in the Smoky Mountains last Fall and were on the Abrams Falls trail that the book starts out on. Makes a book more interesting when you are familiar with the setting. Nice debut by this author.
