This book felt like watching a movie or a series as it goes over the course of four decades. Very well written.

This book was long but good. Great storyline and characters. Will definitely read another book by this author.

More in depth than other books by this author. I liked it, and enjoyed spending two thick novels with these characters (this one, and its sequel, Fly Away).

Great characters. Enjoyed her writing style

Shallow, reads like the plot of a soap opera. The characters are career Barbie dolls making dumb mistakes with little reflection on anything beyond their own lives.

My mom encouraged me to read this novel, and I am very glad she did. This novel was slow at first but then rapidly grew interesting! The characters are so realistic and relatable that it makes you pause and see if that could apply to you. Certainly a novel to read at some point in your life.

Loved this book! Yes, it was long but I really enjoy character-driven books. She breaks up the chapters into decades of their lives and keeps it interesting. So, they start out as friends when they were 10 yrs old and keeps going.

Just when you think she could finish the book at a certain chapter, she starts a new journey. Definitely worth reading and enjoyable.

A friendship that lasts a lifetime, two women endure the ups and downs of life thru the years.
I liked this book, it was a little long.
I thought it could have been shorter, but with the same outcome and overall effect
