Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is two books in one. Part I explains how your money blueprint works. Through Eker's rare combination of street smarts, humor, and heart, you will learn how your childhood influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your own money blueprint and "revise" it to not only create success but, more important, to keep and continually grow it. In Part II you will be introduced to seventeen "Wealth Files," which describe exactly how rich people think and act differently than most poor and middle-class people. Each Wealth File includes action steps for you to practice in the real world in order to dramatically increase your income and accumulate wealth.

Oh m'lord, what a self promoting, late night infomercial, load of psycho-babble. This 'think right' to get rich malarkey has been around for decades, first tied to the whole power of positive thinking bandwagon, and later spun by get rich quick 'systems' that focused on leveraged real estate plays, multi-level marketing, or other forms of snake oil sales. At the root of all of them is an on going set of seminars, books, audio CDs, and now web page subscriptions, that slowly part the gullible from their cash.

The statistical reality in Canada, (as of this writing) is that there are 478,000 individuals with 1 MM or more of financial liquidity (excluding their principal residence), or just over 1.8% of the population. Most are over 50 years old, and the largest percentage either own their own business which they have worked at for decades, or they are in a highly paid profession (medicine, accounting, CEO, etc.).

The equivalent is a 'diet book' promoted by a celebrity, that suggests that if you eat like they eat, and follow their diet, you too will be rich, thin, and famous. As we all know most diets fail miserably, because diets don't work.

The same could be said about any book that promotes a 'system' or 'reprogramming' the sub-conscious. It's been proven statistically that for most people (over 90%) it doesn't work. If you want to get 'rich', plan on spending the next 20 - 30 years building a business, or practising a highly paid profession, otherwise you're throwing away your time and money on shysters like this one.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. The book challenges the readers to adjust their thinking in order to be the best possible 'versions' of themselves.
