really enjoyed this book. This was my first book by Nina LaCour and I loved her style and the tone overall. The only problem I had was I felt like it was just a touch slow in the middle, but it picked up and I really enjoyed it!

I didn't like it, It was weird, I got lost, And I didn't understand it, I also just didn't like the characters either,
At least it had a nice cover...

The narrative. The characters. The setting. The passion. The love.

It was just so easy to read, to love, to fall in love with these girls and want to keep them and make sure all their dreams come true and nobody hurt them.

I thought it was quite good! It had a nice romantic vibe, and while it did have some serious moments and deal with serious and potentially upsetting issues, it was overall a fairly light hearted book. It had such atmosphere.

"During her last summer before starting college, aspiring movie production designer Emi scores a killer internship in Los Angeles. While scouting for props at a famous actor's estate sale, Emi and her friend Charlotte discover an unsent letter from the actor and decide to deliver it themselves. Their efforts lead them to Ava, a talented young actress with a murky past. As Emi's attraction to Ava grows, she starts to look beyond her glamorous surroundings and realise that there's more to true happiness than a Hollywood ending. With its L.A. atmosphere and swoon-worthy romance, Everything Leads to You is the perfect pick for fans of Francesca Lia Block." This book is not that great. I was expecting a lot more maturity as I was reading. I couldn't read past page 10 without jumping to the ending. It was just boring to me.

The book is superficial and about the glamorous life of LA, and working in the movies. Two girls get wrapped up in a mystery by being noisy and opening a dead man's letter to find out he has a daughter. The main girl, Emi, falls in love with her and they live happily ever after.

It wasn't as great of a book as I hoped and I hated the fact I went from Red River to Faulk just to get a lesbian scooby-doo and the gang mystery book.

LaCour effortlessly weaves together themes about family, love, and finding one's passion. The world of movie-making comes to life, as do the characters, who are easy to care about.

An LGBT love story that is just, well, refreshingly sweet (vs. tragic)! A great realistic story with a little bit of mystery, romance, and magic. A modern day Hollywood lesbian fairytale without too much cheesy stuff or high school drama.

She was never something waiting to be solved. All she is - all she's ever been - is a person trying to live a life.
