A wickedly funny modern-day monster movie that will hold you in terror as it keeps you in stitches. A podcaster looking for a juicy story is plunged into a bloodcurdling nightmare after he travels to the backwoods of Canada and meets an eccentric recluse with a lifetime of adventures, and a disturbing fondness for walruses.

This was good movie I enjoyed it very much. Tusk is very similar to the Human Centipede. In concept.

I couldn't keep watching, don't know if I even made it halfway.... was like Human Centipede sort of disturbing-gross-awful (at least I think so --haven't actually watched that either). Also felt like it was making fun of Canada?

Kevin Smith's films are often hit and miss, this is a bit of both. Michael Parks does an outstanding turn as the resident unhinged threat, and there's a great sense of impending creepiness about the film in the first half - however there are all sorts of odd plot holes and inconsistencies that central premise is stretched too thin.
Still, there's an interesting moral to the tale that makes you think... if you can get past the mutilation and the awkwardness of Johnny Depp. This one kept me awake for a while after seeing it.
Not what I would call a fun movie experience, but not completely without merit either.

The weirder the better for me . . . usually . . . I was only irritated that I wasted my life watching this trash. Worst flick I've seen in years- and I watch movies every day.

True there are parts of this movie that could be a lot better, but I think you could say that they were at least trying, rather than rehashing out another Elm street. The highlight of the movie are the Yoga Hosers, who get themselves a spin off movie, which I hope the library will get as soon as possible.

Howard Howe: Are you really mourning your loss of humanity? I don't understand. Who in the hell would want to be human? God Almighty... In all of my travels, I've only ever known a human to be an ocean of shit.
