Leave it to Beaver is one of my all time favourite TV shows. It really holds up well over time. The casting is excellent. Yes, it's a little predictable sometimes but overall it is really enjoyable watching this show. Highly recommended.

Broadcast originally in 1962/63. 51 years later, this family tv series, a sort of a combination comedy and light drama, continues to have relevance -- if only to demonstrate how society has changed. An good example that sometimes tv producers actually know that it is time to bring their series to a conclusion. Season 6 was the final season of "Leave it to Beaver". In the final episode, "Family scrapbook", the entire family remembers family events, comedy and drama, good and bad, of the past 6 years, in the form of scenes cuts from prior season episodes. Wally and Beaver are young adults now, no longer little kids. But in the final scene, they demonstrate that at least a little bit of "kid" remains in both of them. Recommended.
