Author doesn't explain color values but the instructions for cutting out pattern pieces by sewing machine are very clear.

This has to be the poorest quilting color book I've ever seen. There is no mention of color value, which is very important in quilt making. I don't think the author understands it, as evidenced by some of her fabric choices for quilt blocks. Her block-making instructions also leave a lot to be desired. In my opinion, this book disappoints.
