Peter Tomasi and Batman just fit really well together. Nuff said.

This volume of the series picks up in the wake of the death of Robin, as Bruce Wayne is swept up in grief over the loss of his son Damien. The writing has all the right touches, the emphasis on the tidal wave of grief and anger. It brings in a number of Batman's allies, trying to help him cope with his sorrow in different ways, and advances other plotlines along the way. Tomasi's writing throughout is stellar and rings true.

Great Artwork and Story although the story could have a little longer.
