I'm even more hooked!

Wow, that's crazy... I was thinking of what I was going to write before I logged on and several others have beaten me to the punch! It's not often this happens but Season Two DEFINITELY surpassed the first. All kinds of complex interweaving plot twists with Walt, a tragic fate that befell his daughter, Walt's late wife, her killer, Vic, Henry, Branch... Ferg's the only one who's got a dull life (and Ruby, too). Huge cliffhanger to wrap things up. On to Three. FIVE STARS.

This series didn't work for me. The books were better. Ham acting, and implausible plot developments/resolutions. Sorry to be the lone downer here. Give it a try. Taste is subjective.

Agree that season 2 is better than season 1. Quite a bit were on the personal problems among Sheriff Walt, Deputies Vic and Branch.

Yes season one was good....but two is definitely better. I wish the episodes were longer, 12 was not enough for me I wanted more.

Walt: Then how were these maps made?
Aaron: When I was a boy...
Grandma go go drove
all over the place,
taking down every Cheyenne
grave marker she could find.
For every grave,
she Drew a map.
Walt: Why?
Aaron: I believe that was when Cheyenne graves were being ransacked for artifacts. You can't rob graves you can't find.
Walt: Who knew your sister had these maps?
Aaron: Nobody among the living.
Henry: Is that the truth, Aaron,
or another one of your riddles?
Aaron: You tell me, shiny apple.
Or maybe you can't tell the difference between a shiny lie
and the plain truth. Shiny lie!

From epi-6:
Walt: Aaron, your sister's dead.
That why you rode past
my cabin this morning...
to tell me?
Aaron: No. Your cabin rode past me.
Henry: Aaron...Walt is looking for
your sister's killer, so cut the crazy-Indian act for a minute and help.
Aaron: Maybe...I should follow your example...And pretend not to be Indian at all. Red on the outside,
white on the inside. Here, a shining apple for your teacher!
Walt: Aaron, where were you
last night?
Aaron: Home.
Henry: You are homeless.
Aaron: Shining apple, so are you!
