This book has a very interesting plot that will excite and enthral anyone who loves royalty, romance and family secrets. It has a slow start but hang in there, it gets better. It centres around two girls, Wilha and Elara that lead very different lives; Wilha is the famous masked princess and Elara is a poor adopted girl that was abandoned by her parents. They soon learn that they are twins separated at birth to prevent a superstition of twins dividing the country. This story plays with the idea of legend vs truth and past vs present. I wish that the author gave the book more of a fantasy feeling and played more into the superstitions that the village people had. @sunsetzuzu of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This book was interesting at first, but then it started to go downhill. I liked Wilha so much better than Elara, who kind of ruined the story for me.
