A very interesting book but after several attempts I failed in my goal to transfer my own photo onto a piece of fabric. I tried the acrylic paint and acetone techniques described in the book. I wasted my time and money as it was not made clear in the book that you must use a toner based image from a laser printer or photocopier. After consulting other sources I found out ink jet prints do not work with her methods. Also the format of the book has the instructions for each technique at the front of the book and the projects in another section. I found myself needing to flip pages while trying to work with messy/smelly items. To try another of the described methods, I have ordered a Chartpak “blender pen” online (no local suppliers carry them) and will attempt that method when it arrives.
