The album that pushed U2 into the stratosphere, and maybe one of the greatest records of all time -- somehow specific to America and the 1980s but timeless as well.
Does anyone really need to be told this album is their best?
Bono is one of my biggest influences as a singer growing up and U2 is in my top 5 of favorite groups ever.this is there best album the first side is a masterpiece with two number 1 songs Without Or Without You and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and also Where The Streets Have No Name and Bullet The Blue Sky and Running To Stand Still which should of been a single also.side two is underated Red Hill Mining Town In God's Country Exit One Tree Hill are great songs that should of been on the radio also. The Joshua Tree is the best U2 album after this album i reccomend Actung Baby Zooropa Pop and All That You Can Leave Behind that was the last great U2 record!
One of the great U2 releases! Especially the opening four songs! A must for U2 fans!
