My scale is 1-5. 1 being poor/low and 5 being great/high.

Age Group: Adult

Cliché? ★☆☆☆☆
Nope, something new always is happening in the storyline that is fresh to my eyes.

Mythology/Creatures: This series is all about those wild animal-shifters, powerful psychics, and of course the mundanes.

Great balance. The romance is not overpowering the main storyline of the murder/crime mystery.

Mystery: ★★★★★
I love how I did not know or call who the murderer was. I just had to keep reading to find out more facts about who did it. And how it was reveled was in a very action-filled moment.

Angst:★☆☆☆☆ (1.5)
Very low. Exactly the amount I enjoy to be splashed around the storyline.

Suspense:★★★★☆ (3.5)
I found that the suspense was placed at the moments leading up to finding out who the killer was. You know how in some books the suspense is everlasting throughout the entire story? Well, this cannot be said for this book. Though also take into consideration that this is not only a mystery book. It has many themes of romance, family ties/friendships, adventures, and suspense.

Character Development: ★★★★★
Perfect! Love how Nalini had created a very unique and extraordinary set of characters for this book series.

Yes, but I find that I have to spread these books out or I’ll just plow through them and I don’t want to do that to this series since I did exactly that to the Archangels series she wrote. I hate waiting for the next book. I am the worse with waiting for books through my library.

The second Psy - Changeling series book. Where introduced to Faith a F designation in the Psy world. We have know been fully introduced to all the types within the Psy and like the first follows Faiths adventure. Were once again embraced with sections of romance but the book is predominately a supernatural plus fantasy feel as we are whisked away to another world.

Very good, Romantic but also intense. It wasn't soppy which is really fantastic. :)

(no spoilers) Judd wasn't the nicest guy around in the beginning but Brenna sure loosens he up. It was one of those books (initially) for me where I'm thinking "what the heck does she see in him?" he's such a cold jerk! Well that's exactly what he's supposed to be... A similar feel, in a way, to Ward's #3 Bella & Zsadist. The tangible "excuse" for the attraction is that the abused women feels "safe" around these men cause they're so scary badass! For me Judd was (eventually) exciting to read about due to all that crazy TK & TP power he had.

As the story progesses it is easy to sympathize with his past and the ensuing struggles with painful dissonence. He is, above all, a product of extreme Psy manipulation. His transformation was sure interesting...NS had me really rooting for him in the end and what an ooooh soooo very SWEET ending it was!!! Also...the sizzling romance at the end and very end are a worthwhile wait!

Look forward to more...

I think this is the best in her series so far.

I have always wondered about how the Psy break through and this character has been referenced since almost the start of the series.

Wonderful read

Judd and Brenna's story. Like the first 2 novels, this doesn't disappoint. May not always appeal to everyone, but if you're a fan of Psy-Changeling, its definitely a critical point in the series.

I love this series but this one is my absolute favourite.
