Greene's fourth novel, but his first important one, even though he modestly classified it as an "entertainment." He throws together a colorful crew of passengers (the chorus girl! the doctor! the journalist! the Jewish guy!) on the famous train and watches the sparks fly. This deluxe edition, issued to coincide with the 100th anniversary of his birth, features a cool cover and an introduction by Christopher Hitchens. Originally published under the title "Stamboul Train."

Graham Greene never fails to deliver something that always Tweaks the soul. Not to be confused with Murder on the Orient Express . which i admit confused my big brain for a moment or more, till it kicked into gear. Excellent book .
