Inconsistent, funny in some places and boring in others, still recommended.

"Look, I know I screwed up big time. I know this is all my fault. An' even though I don't... wanna die anymore, I know I deserve to for what I've done. But he doesn't. Let me get him outta here, figure out a way to keep him safe, an' I give you my word... I'll meet you anywhere, anytime, an' you can shoot me 'til your fingers go numb. I won't even put up a fight. Just... please. Let me save my friend."

This was the last collection of Daniel Way's take on my favorite fictional character in the entire universe (seriously - Deadpool was pretty much a star in my wedding, my room is full of Deadpool merchandise and I watched the first Deadpool movie seven times - in one day).

Humor is always a staple in any Deadpool work - as it should be - but what I love about it is the grayness that Deadpool thrives in. He wants to be good but he's been bad for so long that he doesn't really know how to be good. He gives up on life to be with Death, but it is only when he realizes that his death would hurt people that he "cares" about - that he decides to live again.

Just because Deadpool is a crazy, CRAZY, person that is beyond selfish - he tries his best to be better and really, what more can you ask for?

totally great. but literally, by looking at the picture here, I find it hilarious either way. I mean the whole book is based on Death wanting to take deadpool, but it can't. I find it funny
