This movie diminishes ones humanity, and left me feeling sick. There were no redeeming features, though my hope for some kept me watching. Ugly and NOT funny.

This is a very uncomfortable movie to watch. Centered around the lives of three adult sisters. One has a perv stalker, one just can't get the dating scene and the married sister, the one with the seemingly perfect life, is married to a pedophile. Watching the husband verbally interact with the 11 year old son is borderline porno.
When it's over you will ask what was the purpose of the movie, then you will ask yourself why you wasted you time watching it.

There's some truth in this story, but the irony is so slanted that It's hard to tell funny from sad or truth from distortion. The characterizations of the three woman are well drawn, and the performances by Adams, Boyle and Stevenson are compelling. But children are the victims, and the adult male characters are deeply disturbed. I hope I don't have to watch this film again.

Dark humor, needs much more humor. There were a few funny spots (somewhat sick), but it really dragged. Most of the characters were sad/miserable, or just plain messed up. I could laugh more at them if they ever realized what was wrong, but they never seemed to pick up on it.

A wonderfully painful look at the ugly sides of human nature. Amazing cast and props for having the balls to do it. The dark humor moments are equally as wonderful. NOT FOR EVERYONE. Def not your mainstream or "date night" movie. Dylan Baker is amazing at a character many would turn down and only a person who wants to shine light on one of the most taboo (and horribly unforgivable) yet unfortunately all too real subjects and subject matter.

Yes, it's an awful subject, but I think that it's important to have movies and writings about things that make us uncomfortable so that we are aware of what the world is REALLY like. I think it's wrong to go around with your eyes closed and deny that bad things happen to people. I can understand if you just don't want to see it on a film, but I don't understand why some would give such an excellent film -- in terms of writing, casting, acting, directing, etc.-- a low rating just because it was uncomfortable to watch.

I thought this was an excellent movie. But it shines a light on the darker side of human nature that isn't always pleasant to watch. Utmost discretion should be used before you decide to see the movie.

I really can't stand movies that seem to be uncomfortable simply to be uncomfortable, and for me, this film lands firmly in that category. Very dark humor, which I can enjoy in other settings, but this was just work to watch. The cast is amazing and offer fine performances, but this was just not for me.
