It features interviews, commentary and performance clips of 18 of the world's most accomplished pianists (although some can rightfully argue that there are omissions). I confess that I checked it out to see archival footage of Gyorgy Cziffra - segment 12, playing Liszt's Grand Gallope Chromatique. My other favorites were: Gould's playing Bach, #31, like I never heard it before; Horowitz's variations on a theme from Carmen, #10 and Rubinstein's playing of Beethoven, segment 16.
