Really enjoyed this book!
Loved the story plot.
And I'm very glad that I had the holiday time to finish it.

Book one in an entertaining series about an old sorcerer who lives to over 400 years old to correct a tragic decision when he was a young prince.

A word of caution: this long series/saga deals with mature graphic content, such as incestuous sex, violent rape and dark magic.

If you love fantasy and you haven't read Katharine Kerr, then you haven't truly read fantasy. Ever since I picked up this book Daggerspell, the first book in the Deverry Saga, I can hardly wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. These books rate among my top five fantasy series along with Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson and David B. Coe.
