I was disappointed with this book. Nicki Trench's crochet patterns are usually fantastic. The dolls and ghostly items themselves are only interesting because of their accessories and not because of the crochet. The crochet patterns are not inspired for amigurimi. They are simplistic (as opposed to simple, but they are simple as well) and don't really look good, let alone scary. I would agree with the previous comment - lame - but I've added a star because the accessorizing of the lame patterns is creative.
