An edifying arrangement of the political thought of Chomsky, organized into brief (4 minute) segments showing him speak (thankfully in full paragraphs!) so one can comprehend why he holds the opinions he does; numerous topics (more than twelve) are considered, from capitalism to democracy to war crimes to the "war on terror", and many others besides.

I'll tell you about Chomsky's murky mind, I've been following him long enough: he supports the Warren Commission Report, the Federal Reserve, the 9/11 Commission Report and the persecution of Aaron Swartz, a real activist, unlike Chomsky and family! /// Can the tragedy of 9/11 actually be traced back to 1920s public policy? \\\ No, typical Chomsky obfuscation! But it can be traced to the Carter and Reagan Administrations, which declared a presidential directive for the destabilizing of the once-secular government of Afghanistan, which led to the mujahideen, which led to the Taliban and al Qaeda by way of the financing and arming of the Taliban and al Qaeda by Unocal and the CIA in the late 1990s. Why is Noam, and daughter Avi Chomsky, forever redirecting our attention away from the facts?

Chomsky continually amazes me with his ability to read between the lines; following the unreported to find the facts and apply masterful analysis that delivers continuity and meaning from the chaos of 20th century politics. If teachers of social studies and history could all teach like this guy can... if you like Chomsky, watch this. If you have never heard him, please give this a try.
