Although he is a very serious bear, Benjamin Bear has a funny way of doing things, like drying dishes on a rabbit's back or sharing his sweater without taking it off.

All family enjoyed it!
Benjamin Bear has a rather unconventional approach to problem solving. For instance, when he's too afraid to jump off a cliff with his hang glider, Benjamin convinces a dog to chase him off the edge. Or when his friends, the fish and the canary, want to see what's under the ocean, Benjamin wades in with the fish in the birdcage and the bird in the air-filled fishbowl. Kids will giggle at the silliness of Benjamin's antics in these easy-to-read, single-page stories, but the unusual, understated visual humour of the illustrations will "inspire thinking as well as laughs" (Kirkus Reviews).
