"How to fool others into taking a ride on the trip yer on."

Most of it seems a bit harmful, as I spend most of my life avoiding conflict and not giving much criticism to others, and it takes a mental toll on you sometimes.

Basically "be nice"... not very helpful, stuff like "smile", "see in other's shoes" and "apologize when you make a mistake asap". It's just simple stuff and kind of expected without any psychology type details written to it. It's all very surfaced and not worth "studying" the book. Maybe a brief read but kind of disappointing.

I have read and read this book numerous times throughout the years. It has timeless wisdom. We should all be made to read this as we go through life. Excellent book.

I really enjoyed this book because even if some of it is a bit dated it is timeless advise for dealing with people. I actually like the "old school" feel of the writing and stories.

This book is one of those you should just buy and read periodically. Great book full of solid advice built on respectable principles. I would highly encourage everyone to read this.

Brilliant and every bit as relevant today as when it was written years ago.

A common sense, easy-to-read and light-hearted guide to interacting with others. Certain recommendations seem like basic reiterations of what most already know, but the examples that Carnegie uses really make his points interesting and hit home. Recommended for all individuals, teenage and up.
