When Saria Boudreaux finds a dead body in the Louisiana bayou near her home, her first instinct is to go to the police. But there's a problem: it looks like the victim was killed by a big cat, and her brothers are all shape-shifting leopards. Sent to investigate by the land's owner, leopard shifter Drake Donovan is ready for anything - except the insatiable hunger that rocks him when he meets Saria. Deep in his soul, he knows that she is destined to be his mate.

Between Leopard's Prey, and Savage Nature, I prefer Savage Nature. Both were rather dark and hard for me to get into, but I still enjoyed both books because I enjoyed the Cajun, Creole, and the Leopard People, so much. Also, justice prevails in the end. Also the Leopard People main characters find their true mates.

More Christine Feehan and after her previous book that I read I just couldn't get into this one. I didn't really read enough to comment on it.

Sarah is defiately spunky as a nature photographer, and bayou guide. And it's nice to know that Drake's surgery has suceeded and he can fully transform. The look on his face when she snaps a picture of him post-tranformation is priceless.

I'll love whether it's returned, forsaken, or simply ignored.
