"Murder on the links" would have gotten 4 stars if some of the other actors had been better. Hastings looks to be in love with someone he is afraid is a murderess. Poirot comes to the rescue. Melancholy background music makes me wonder if this is a murder mystery or a love story. You be the judge. The story is convoluted but so are all the Agatha Christie tales. When does Poirot find his own love and just who might qualify?

Like all of Suchet's Poirot films, this is excellent. Not the best of them but excellent all the same.
