Terrible sound quality -- harsh, echo-y, hollow. Old interviews should have been cleaned up. It was hard to understand. This is not the quality that I'm used to in the Arthouse Films.

Well worth seeing !! An up front look at the people who took 'The Center of the Art World' away from Paris,.. and relocated it in NYC.

Wow. If you love or are interested in American 'modern art' - abstract expressionism, 'color field', pop art, etc. - this is a good film for you. Such lusciousness! and so many interesting ideas - the ideas behind some of the modern masterpieces.

Robert Rauschenberg: "[What the abstract expressionists and myself] had in common was touch. I was never interested in pessimism or editorializing. You have to have time to feel sorry for yourself if you're going to be a good abstract expressionist. I think I always considered that a waste. [But what we had in common was that we] let the brush stroke show.
