Victor grows up on a Utopian commune faced with the challenge to either submit to his community's ideals or to escape. Victor's mother funds the collective where guru Insley lectures a lifestyle of free love and out-of-body meditations. Spurred by the sudden reappearance of his childhood love Becky, Victor creates a desperate plot to save them both and escape the polygamous cult. A cautionary tale about freeing yourself of social constrictions.

If you can get past the teenagers constantly getting high, I guess it has something to offer.

If this is supposed to be an evocation of the 'glorious' hippie culture 20 years on, it fails miserably. Apart from the gratuitous sex (not hardcore), the amount of drug use (pot, pills, liquor) wouldn't have allowed any of the characters to stand yet alone speak and be coherent which they aren't anyway given the vacuous script and interchangeable dialogue. This is forgettable which is probably a kind end.
