Super clever story line narrated by an awkward but confident deaf high school student who recently enters a mainstream high school. Will's nicknames-acronyms and reflections about staff and students are a hoot and sometimes, embarrassing - very teenager-y. The detective duo are mentioned in the book so, if you liked Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew as a kid, you'll like and chuckle on this modern and clever spin of a, "who done it."
