In the fourth book of the bestselling Underland Chronicles, Gregor is drawn ever deeper into a brewing crisis. For generations, rats have run the mice out of whatever lands they've claimed, keeping them constantly on the move. But now the mice are disappearing and the young queen Luxa is determined to find out why.
Gregor and Boots join Luxa on a simple fact-finding mission. But when the true fate of the mice is revealed, it is something far more sinister than they had imagined - and it points the way to the final prophecy Gregor has yet to fulfill. His abilities are put to the test in this suspenseful, action-packed penultimate installment of Suzanne Collins's thrilling Underland Chronicles.

Summary
Add a SummaryGregor and Luxa (and other people who got caught up in the problem) goes to investigate the disappearance of the nibbles from their colonies. For once, there is no prophecy driving them on (or so they think). When they find marks of secret, bodies of nibblers, and an almost-dead nibbler, they grow more and more determined to solve the mystery (in Luxa's case, at leasat). And when they realize what happened (and is happening), drastic measures had to be made.

This book was "wow so spice" =)
The rats are super cruel.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely amazing!
The ending was like that because you need to read the last book
i was so pissed at the end i was like wat wat wat >.<
Awesome book!
I like the fact that it was not a prophecy that drove them to do what they did (later, they find out that they WERE following a 'disguised' prophecy), but the fact that Luxa owes the nibblers a favor and it was of their own free-will... to an extent. Also, the mystery of what exactly happened to the nibblers really kept me engaged. And when the big reveal and realizations came, everything that doesn't make sense, suddenly does. For example, the lack of prophecy, since every book so far has one. And, of course, the mysterious Prophecy of Time that everyone keeps mentioning but never said (I'm guessing they won't until the last book).
