Add a CommentGreat cookbook and resource for anyone interested in improving their health, especially cancer survivors. I used it 9 years ago after my cancer scare and I continue to use it. Lots of favs in there. Excellent info on which foods are most beneficial for whichever.
There is a 2nd edition of this book, pub'd 2017, but I have not used it.
Though focused on helping individuals facing cancer/treatment, this book could benefit anyone looking for a diet to bolster their immune system or lessen inflammation. In recommending foods, Ms Katz unfortunately does not indicate the strength of the evidence for each. This is, of course, a shifting landscape.
Much useful info and recipes for healthy eating ideas and for proactively eating to prevent cancer. Beautiful-looking book and appetising recipes.
Still using cookbook even though everyone is well. Great, tasty recipes.
