"That's the only bad thing about being a ghost. Once you have accomplishes whatever it was that caused you to be created, you're done. "
- Harry's ghost from a near death/short death experience after helping Harry to defeat the ghost of Kravos.
I wonder how this "rule" is handled at the end of Ghost Story?

Add a CommentHarry Dresden is an idiot for women. There is no denying that and this fact can get annoying after a while, but interesting new characters and the plot was enough to ignore that most of the time. Besides Harry wasn't an idiot the whole book.
This is the third book in Jim Butcher's gleefully pulpy *Dresden Files* series of urban fantasy novels. Through most of this book, I was wondering if I had missed a book in the series. Who is this Michael paladin character? It turns out that the entire plot of this book is based on a past event which actually does not actually appear in any published book. Interesting plot device? Maybe. But it just didn't work for me because I always felt that I was missing some key details.
Dresden Files Book 3
Couldn't pick up due to library being closed for HVOC reasons
Wizard Harry Dresden is on a roller coaster of action. He constantly teeters on the edge of the precipice and teased by despair but motors on like the ever-ready bunny. I love how his power works and the fixes he finds himself in. But the best all-you-can-eat banquet can lose its luster if you go back for repeated opportunities. I think Grave Peril can sometimes be too much of a good thing.
i liked the first two books. This one was a lot better.
This book has sold me on reading the whole series! The first book was ok, I wasn't crazy about it, but a friend of mine convinced me to keep reading. Book 2 Fool Moon, was better and piqued my interest. This one seals the deal though! The story got a lot more interesting! Plus it helps that it had a lot to do with vampires, as i'm a huge fan of them xD Def recommend the series! :)
Working my way thru the series. Recommend it. Entertaining easy reading without danger of any deep or unsettling thoughts! Exactly what one needs when one is anxious.
Out of reading materials and short on time, I grabbed this book on the run. I'm not a great fan of fantasy, but got totally wrapped up in this book and finished it in one day. Butcher is a terrific writer and now I'm going back to the beginning of the Dresden Files series. A terrific read.
Is this book even in circulation???
