This book was awesome! It was a great read. It was very interesting and I love the plot and the story line. Great book!

This book is a very fun read! The lead charaters and their respective situations are recognizable to anyone who's ever attended high school and didn't quite fit in with one group or many. The challange to open up and make friends is a good life lesson anytime. Maddy's home life and her dealing with divoreced parents is all too real these days; particularly when she discovers her dad is less than perfect. A big step toward adulthood that. I totally related to her interest in manga and anime and how she let them be an important part of her personallity - and one that helped her find and make new friends. The ending was a litte predictable it's true, but on the other hand I got the ending I was hoping for so that's okay by me! I recommend this for any age. Some grups may think it's too young for them, but if you have an interest in modern visual culture (see _Genshiken_) you'll enjoy it.

The book was decent, But incredibly predictable.
I knew what was gonna happen after the first couple of chapters.

Also the author didnt put enough effort in creat detail and personality for the main character Maddy.

Overall it was ok though. I would suggest it to people in junior high probably.
