How did Jon Scieszka get so funny? He grew up as one of six brothers with Catholic school, lots of comic books, lazy summers at the lake with time to kill, babysitting misadventures, TV shows, and jokes told at family dinner.

I read it a long time ago, and I still am putting a hold on it. It's good, trust me. My teachers kept getting mad at me for laughing so hard I fell out of my seat. That was actually quite a long time ago....

Funniest book I've read in a long time. A bunch of 6th graders recommended this book to me and I took the bait. My favorite Jon Scieszka is the Stinky Cheese Man, which is also extremely funny. I recommended the book to my parents who grow up around the same time and could relate to the stories that Jon told. Definitely a must read!

This is a funny, smart and clever book. Anyone who likes Scieszka must read this book, as well as anyone who hasn't heard of him.
