Complete rubbish. The script could have been a university student's project. Very shallow and unrealistic dialog, and the story is virtually flat. No ups and downs, nothing to hold your attention, no pacing. Just another old Canadian film tax credit write-off. Don't waste your time.

As you have known for the past few months, the world will end tonight; it's now down to your last six hours. What will you do: look for love, sex, or any type of intimacy; spend your final hours alone, with family, or with strangers; wait quietly or wreak havoc; keep working, keep checking off items on your bucket list, or just ponder what has (or might have) been? // Filmed in Toronto, with a cast of recognizable Canadian faces. A Canadian classic that I saw, coincidentally and appropriately, a few days before New Year.

Don McKellar's directorial debut is the bittersweet story of a group of people preparing for the world to end. We learn their hopes, their regrets, and how they chose to spend their last night on earth. Simply beautiful.
