(Night of The Living Dead) TV Newsman #1: "The bodies should be disposed of at once, preferably by cremation." TV Newsman #2: "Well, how long after death then does the body become reactivated?" #1: "It's only a matter of minutes." #2: "Minutes? Well that doesn't give people time to make any arrangements..." #1: "No, you're right, it doesn't give them time to make funeral arrangements. The bodies must be burned immediately! Soak them with gasoline and burn them. The bereaved will have to forego the dubious comforts that funeral services will give. They're just dead flesh, and dangerous."

(Double Feature)

(Night of The Living Dead - 4 stars) This 1968 'B' movie was completed on a $114,000 budget, and after decades of cinematic re-releases, it has grossed $12 million domestically and $18 million internationally! Good investment, Mr. Romero... The acting is decent, and the film deserves respect for the genre it created.

(Bucket of Blood - 2.5 stars) A passable one time view film for a glimpse at ('King of the 'B' Movies') Roger Corman's (and writer Charles B. Griffith's) satirical stab at late 1950's bohemian artists and beatnik youth.
